Bulldogs Cap Undefeated Season with Tournament Championship

The VYS Bulldogs went 8-0 in their first season as a travel team outscoring their opponents 33-5. The team finished their strong season by winning the Columbia Fall Classic. The girls also went undefeated in the tournament, and beat out teams from VA Beach, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. The Bulldogs won the Championship Game defeating FC Frederick 2-0.

The Bulldogs roster includes Maddie Colwell, Lauren Kaup, Mackenzie Nihill, Kelly Koshuta, Emily Burke, Rachel Marek, Caitlyn Lichtenfels, Kelsey McWilliams, Lyndsey Abed, Sarah Hipwell, Anna Thillairajah, and Erin Marcus. Coaches are Tom Burke, Jim Koshuta, and Rick Lichtenfels.
